This Joint Meeting is hosted by RINA and is titled 'IALA - Fostering Safe, Economic & Efficient Movement of Vessels Through Harmonised Marine Aids to Navigation'.

Speaker: Tom Southall FRIN - Technical Officer of the International Association of Marine Aids to Navigation and Lighthouse Authorities (IALA)

The aim of IALA is to foster the safe, economic and efficient movement of vessels, through improvement and harmonisation of aids to navigation worldwide and other appropriate means, for the benefit of the maritime community and the protection of the environment.

Tom Southall will provide an update on how marine Aids to Navigation are developed and harmonised, focusing on a sustainable and efficient approach to build capacity and share expertise.
